Position Overview

Metric5 is on the lookout for a Proposal Specialist to enhance our business development team. We seek an innovative and motivated individual with exceptional communication abilities, a strong focus on customer service, and a proven track record in crafting successful proposals for growth initiatives. The successful candidate will deliver written contributions for new business pursuits that showcase Metric5's strengths, solution design, and inventive approaches for various opportunities and clients.

Role Responsibilities
As a dynamic player in the Federal sector, Metric5 thrives on the talent and dedication of our workforce. The Proposal Specialist will need to grasp our primary clientele, the services we offer, and the strategies to secure and expand business through written and presentation materials, as well as responses to RFIs, RFPs, and other client interactions.

Key Duties Include:

  • Provide strategic insight and technical assistance to support business development and project delivery in acquiring and expanding both new and existing contracts.
  • Create essential documents for proposals and clients, including but not limited to performance summaries, technical approach narratives, architectural models, process diagrams, and operational concepts.
  • Compile and articulate experiences from delivery teams into persuasive written service offerings for potential clients.
  • Work closely with the Growth Team to comprehend customer strategic planning and objectives.
  • Draft written responses to technical inquiries and research requests from the Growth team and project teams.
  • Conduct business case analyses to aid in decision-making processes.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key vendor partners to integrate technology and capabilities.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in crafting effective responses to Government RFIs, RFPs, and similar requests.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the Federal Government contracting sector.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external business partners.
  • Competence in documenting existing and new processes.
  • Ability to assess process effectiveness and propose changes or alternatives.
  • Capability to work effectively as part of a team or independently.
  • Skill in identifying and documenting trends, as well as evaluating and forecasting their impact on the organization.

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in information technology, communication, or analytics.

Work Environment: Remote position within the United States.

Experience Requirement: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Security Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain a government-issued suitability clearance.
