Position Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Proposal Writer & New Business Analyst to enhance our business development initiatives. This role is essential for steering the agency's new business pursuits by overseeing the creation and management of proposals, as well as responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs. The ideal candidate will excel in producing engaging and professional content while also managing our CRM system and supporting inside sales efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proposal Development:
Facilitate the complete RFP/proposal writing process, ensuring submissions are timely and of high quality. - Interpret incoming RFPs, aligning them with TopRight's strategic objectives.
- Engage in kick-off meetings and strategy sessions to plan proposal projects effectively.
- Customize responses utilizing the proposal content library.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to articulate intricate product and service details.
- Edit and review RFP responses for clarity and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Draft supplementary RFP attachments, including case studies and compliance documents.
- Create cover letters, executive summaries, and other marketing materials.
- Assist in managing proposal knowledge and content retention.
- Contribute to blog posts and other communications during proposal downtimes.
New Business Development:
Support the new business workflow through market research and competitive analysis to inform proposal strategies.
- Act as an inside sales representative, identifying and nurturing new business leads.
- Manage the CRM system, ensuring data accuracy and tracking new business activities.
- Work closely with the business development team to prioritize opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related discipline.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- 2-3+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or business development.
- Proven ability to create clear and persuasive content that aligns with brand voice.
- Experience with CRM systems and supporting business development efforts.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- A proactive approach to identifying business opportunities.
