Position Summary
TopRight is in search of a talented Proposal Writer & New Business Analyst. This essential role is crucial for advancing the agency's new business initiatives by overseeing the creation and management of proposals, as well as responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs. The ideal candidate will excel in producing compelling content with a professional tone while also managing our CRM system and supporting inside sales efforts.


Key Responsibilities:

Proposal Development:

  • Facilitate the entire RFP/proposal writing process, ensuring submissions are timely and of high quality.
  • Evaluate and interpret incoming proposals, aligning them with TopRight's strategic goals.
  • Engage in kick-off meetings, strategy discussions, and proposal project planning.
  • Tailor RFP responses utilizing the proposal content library.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and proposal contributors to articulate intricate product and service details.
  • Review and refine RFP responses for clarity, coherence, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Draft or review supplementary RFP attachments, including case studies, project timelines, team bios, appendices, and compliance documents.
  • Create RFP cover letters, executive summaries, and other marketing materials.
  • Assist in proposal knowledge management and content retention in SharePoint.
  • Compose blog posts and communication materials for TopRight or clients during proposal cycle downtimes.

New Business Support:

  • Enhance the new business workflow through market research and competitive analysis to inform proposal strategies.
  • Act as an inside sales representative, identifying new business opportunities and nurturing leads through the sales process.
  • Oversee and manage the CRM system, ensuring data accuracy and utilizing it to track and report on new business activities.
  • Work closely with the business development team to identify and prioritize opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • 2-3+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or business development.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce clear, concise, and persuasive content that aligns with brand voice.
  • Experience managing CRM systems and supporting new business development efforts.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities and driving results.
