Role Overview
The Senior Manager, Fintech Business Development is tasked with identifying and executing new commercial and strategic partnerships with fintech organizations both in North America and globally.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development:
- Structure and implement commercial agreements directly with fintech companies and enablers, primarily focusing on the money movement sector while maintaining a broad fintech perspective.
- Cultivate and enhance expertise in key fintech growth sectors and develop segment strategies to expand Visa's presence, including areas such as money movement, processing, digital banking, and lending for both consumers and businesses.

Thought Leadership:
- Provide market insights and client feedback to Visa's product teams to inform roadmap and prioritization decisions, as well as go-to-market and commercialization strategies.
- Represent Visa at industry events, promoting Visa's initiatives and strategic objectives.
- Foster an 'open front door' approach, seeking ways to support and engage across a wider ecosystem.
- Identify and advocate for Visa Venture investments.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or 2 years of work experience with a PhD.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 9 or more years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or 2 years of work experience with a PhD.
- At least 8 years of business experience in product or business development within the payments, financial services, or fintech sectors.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, including enthusiasm and pride in work, with a strong bias towards action.
- Extensive existing experience and network within fintech, payments, or banking sectors.

Additional Information
- This position may require travel up to 10% of the time.
- The role will be conducted in an office environment, necessitating the ability to sit and stand at a desk, communicate effectively, and operate standard office equipment.
