Job Overview:

Under close supervision, assesses quality inspection and testing documentation, evaluates products, measures process performance, records data, and prepares formal documentation.

Verifies workmanship standards, material specifications, compliance with contract plans, specifications, and relevant codes and regulations. Records conformity, deficiencies, and deviations from established plans and procedures.

Maintains daily logs, re-work lists, testing logs and reports, inspection reports, and other necessary project documentation.

Engages in daily communication with project field personnel to ensure that daily work responsibilities align with inspection and testing plans outlined in the project contract specifications.

Coordinates quality inspection and testing strategies with third-party inspectors, subcontractors, field trade staff, and vendors. Performs additional duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent. 0 years of experience. Domestic and/or international travel may be necessary.

The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.

Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Skills and Abilities:
Basic Knowledge of industry practices, processes, health and safety, and quality. Good communication, analytical, and planning skills. Proficient computer skills including MS Word and Excel; organizational skills to balance and prioritize work.

Background Check and Drug Testing Information:
CDM Smith Inc. reserves the right to require background checks including criminal, employment, education, licensure, etc. as well as credit and motor vehicle when applicable for certain positions. In addition, CDM Smith may conduct drug testing for designated positions. Background checks are conducted after an offer of employment has been made in the United States.

The timing of when background checks will be conducted on candidates for positions outside the United States will vary based on country statutory law but in no case, will the background check precede an interview.

CDM Smith will conduct interviews of qualified individuals prior to requesting a criminal background check, and no job application submitted prior to such interview shall inquire into an applicant's criminal history.

Additional Compensation:
All bonuses at CDM Smith are discretionary and may or may not apply to this position.

Work Location Options:
Successful candidate will be required to work 100% in the field locations.
