Position Overview:

The Quality Assurance Warehouse Inspector is responsible for overseeing the inspection and management of goods within the warehouse. This role involves ensuring that all incoming and outgoing merchandise meets quality standards and is accurately documented.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of products to identify any damages or inconsistencies.
  • Utilize hand carts and pallet jacks to efficiently load, unload, and organize merchandise.
  • Optimize storage solutions to maximize warehouse space.
  • Weigh and select appropriate packaging for various items.
  • Package, seal, and label products accurately.
  • Handle heavy loads safely and effectively.
  • Provide flexible support for various warehouse tasks as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of warehouse equipment.
  • Perform additional warehouse-related duties as assigned.
  • Utilize basic computer skills for inventory management.
  • Print and affix labels to boxes and pallets as required.

Qualifications:

  • Strong foundational math skills.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Experience with various types of physical labor.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting and moving objects weighing up to 35 lbs.
  • Capability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
  • Safe operation of warehouse equipment is essential.
  • Forklift experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on following instructions.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficient in placing materials in designated locations.

Compensation: $17.87 per hour
