The Clinical Equipment Trainer, in partnership with the Manager of Education and the Director of Ambulatory Patient Care Services, will deliver educational services to the clinical support staff.
This role involves assisting leadership in the development and oversight of clinical education initiatives, tracking staff engagement, and implementing continuous training for the introduction of new policies and procedures.
The Trainer will provide insights to clinic leadership based on observations related to clinical quality, adherence to policies and procedures, and pinpoint areas where further education is necessary.
Responsibilities also include maintaining, ordering supplies for, and overseeing the clinic's competency files and training facilities.
EDUCATION:
High School diploma or equivalent required. Successful completion of an accredited medical assistant training program is essential.
Current Certified Medical Assistant certification is mandatory.
Technical expertise in patient care equipment, anatomy, medical terminology, and quality assurance/control standards is necessary.
Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative in identifying performance improvement opportunities.
Proficiency in navigating computer software using a mouse, keyboard, or stylus, as well as familiarity with Windows-based applications.
