Position Overview

As a key member of the Global Legal Operations team at AMISEQ, the Legal Operations Specialist will engage with diverse stakeholders within the Legal department on various initiatives, guiding projects from opportunity identification and requirements gathering to design and implementation. This role emphasizes technology-driven projects aimed at advancing digital transformation within Legal practice areas, including the enhancement of existing systems, supporting system integrations, and developing business requirements alongside standardized processes for new system rollouts.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated, detail-oriented professional with a robust background in technology and the capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Success in this position requires experience in business analysis and project management, as well as the ability to cultivate relationships with staff across the global Legal department to drive positive outcomes. Candidates should have experience in deploying digital technology within a legal context or a related field with transferable skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation of training materials
  • Deliver training on processes and systems
  • Identify gaps in existing processes and systems
  • Implement and communicate processes in collaboration with process and content leads
  • Analyze content and template inefficiencies and suggest improvements
  • Diagnose and resolve system issues using established practices
  • Coordinate with IT for resolution of standard system failures and user settings
  • Maintain, review, audit, and update data, records, and templates
  • Propose enhancements to policies, procedures, and processes regarding data and records
  • Ensure adherence to data and records management policies and procedures
  • Establish appropriate user roles and security settings within current and future systems
  • Prepare and configure contract-related content for use within contract systems
  • Respond to inquiries for support or information related to content or templates

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a Legal or IT environment
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Proven experience with legal technology and processes is essential
  • Project Management certifications are advantageous
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are preferred
  • Ability to make independent decisions and know when to escalate issues
  • Experience collaborating with business teams and stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Project Management tools such as SharePoint, Smartsheet, Tableau, and Box
  • Experience in the legal domain is preferred, including areas such as Contracts Management, Compliance, Privacy, and Entity Management
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office is required
