Position Overview

The Legal Operations Consultant will play a pivotal role within the Global Legal Operations team at AMISEQ. This position involves collaborating with diverse stakeholders within the Legal department on various initiatives, from aligning opportunities and gathering requirements to designing and implementing solutions. The primary focus will be on technology-driven projects that facilitate digital transformation across legal practice areas, including enhancing existing systems, supporting system integrations, and developing business requirements and standardized processes for new system implementations.

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented professional with a robust background in technology and the capability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams. To thrive in this role, candidates should possess experience in business analysis and project management, along with the ability to cultivate relationships with staff across the global Legal department to achieve successful outcomes. Ideal candidates will have experience in deploying digital technologies within a legal context or a related field with transferable skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation of training materials
  • Deliver training on processes and systems
  • Identify gaps in existing processes and systems
  • Enforce and disseminate processes in collaboration with process and content leads
  • Analyze content and template inefficiencies and recommend improvements
  • Diagnose and resolve system failures and malfunctions using established practices
  • Coordinate with IT for the resolution of standard system failures and user settings issues
  • Maintain, review, audit, and modify data, records, and templates
  • Propose enhancements to policies, procedures, and processes regarding data and records
  • Ensure compliance with data and records management policies and procedures
  • Establish appropriate user roles and security settings within current and future systems
  • Prepare and configure contract-related content for use within contract systems
  • Respond to inquiries regarding content or templates

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a Legal or IT environment
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Required experience with legal technology and processes
  • Project Management qualifications are a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential
  • Ability to make independent decisions and know when to escalate issues
  • Experience collaborating with business teams and stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Project Management tools such as SharePoint, Smartsheet, Tableau, and Box
  • Preferred experience in the legal domain, including Contracts Management, Compliance, Privacy, and Entity Management
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office is required
