Position Details for Legal Administrative Assistant:
  • Compensation: $18.50 per hour
  • Weekly payment via direct deposit
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
JOB OVERVIEW:As a Legal Administrative Assistant, you will handle a variety of operational responsibilities, including managing high-volume document duplication and imaging, overseeing mail systems, and supporting various office functions. Reporting directly to the Site Manager or Supervisor, you will ensure the efficient operation of office equipment, manage incoming and outgoing mail, and maintain inventory records. Your role may also involve customer service, meeting room arrangements, and light maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities for Legal Administrative Assistant:
  • Accurately process incoming mail from various carriers, ensuring accountability.
  • Utilize tracking systems to manage accountable mail efficiently.
  • Maintain detailed logs for mail counts and other important metrics.
  • Deliver mail across different floors, ensuring timely distribution.
  • Meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Assist with light maintenance tasks such as toner replacement and troubleshooting.
  • Operate high-volume copying machines and perform finishing tasks.
  • Utilize document imaging systems effectively.
  • Manage office tasks using software and email systems.
  • Conduct maintenance checks on office equipment and troubleshoot issues.
  • Maintain inventory records and distribute office supplies.
  • Coordinate service calls and respond to inquiries.
  • Handle shipping and receiving tasks, including calculating service charges.
  • Assist with meeting room setups and office relocations.
  • Perform occasional cleaning and light maintenance duties.
  • Operate various office equipment as needed.
  • Conduct filing duties, including archiving documents.
