The ideal candidate will have a robust background in investigating and evaluating both First- and Third-Party auto property damage claims, ensuring efficient and courteous resolutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and determine the appropriate actions for each assigned file, leveraging technical expertise to support the resolution of claims.
  • Conduct comprehensive investigations and maintain accurate documentation for each claim, including coverage assessments, liability determinations, and damage evaluations.
  • Make decisions to accept, deny, or negotiate liability claims following thorough investigations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather evidence and establish facts related to assigned claims.
  • Organize and prioritize tasks to manage current assignments effectively, ensuring timely claim resolutions.
  • Prepare and present evaluations for claims to the relevant settlement authority.
  • Inform the Underwriting Department of any significant findings during investigations.
  • Understand and adhere to unfair claims practices applicable in operational states.
  • Engage with vendors professionally while managing expenses and upholding the company’s reputation for quality service.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in auto liability or property damage claims is essential.
  • Experience with non-standard insurance is advantageous.
  • Texas Adjuster License - All Lines is mandatory (Multi-State licensing is preferred).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are necessary.
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication, with the ability to foster positive relationships with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Experience in an automated claims processing environment is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of fraud prevention practices is required.
  • General understanding of policies, procedures, and state regulations is expected.
  • Ability to pass any required written examinations to obtain a Claims Adjuster license.
  • Being bilingual is a plus.
