About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive to join our team at Fidelity Information Services. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to sell our merchant services to middle-market merchants in assigned territories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue growth targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned bankers and merchants
  • Identify new prospects and revenue opportunities through referrals, lead lists, and self-sourcing
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of our products, value-added services, and pricing models to recommend additional services to merchants
  • Utilize available resources to ensure merchants are properly set up on our system, processing transactions, and are initially billed according to agreement
  • Respond promptly to prospect inquiries and requests, and prepare proposals, letters, and presentations using our resources
  • Provide regular reports and updates to management on prospect status, revenue, and deal count achievement

Requirements:

  • Typically 8-12 years of success in a related business-to-business sales experience in the middle market or enterprise level
  • A reputation as an expert in the field
  • Expert negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal, including exemplary presentation abilities
  • Comfort and documented skills in negotiating with C-level clients
