Job Summary

The Business to Business (B2B) Representative reports to the Business-to-Business Manager and is responsible for developing relationships with existing business customers and seeking out new opportunities. This role promotes Ace's business program through select products supplied by Ace Hardware vendors and E&H Ace Hardware partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage our existing customer base and actively seek new customers through networking, prospecting, and internal lead generation.
  • Prioritize and follow-up on all sales leads in cooperation with the store teams and the District Manager.
  • Interpret and take action on various reports for lead generation, sales, margin requirements, and other parameters as established.
  • Conduct periodic training sessions with individual store B2B Champions on various internal B2B lead generation and sales topics.
  • Attend trade shows and store events to promote B2B sales and generate leads.
  • Work with store teams and their respective district managers to maintain up-to-date in-store B2B product displays.
  • Participate in regular conference calls with managers and leadership.
Requirements

Must be 22 years of age or older with a valid license and clean driving record. Five years of sales experience highly preferred; familiarity with hardware retailing preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint. Ability to maintain a balanced schedule and work independently with little or no supervision.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will service E&H Ace Hardware's southern district, focusing on Delaware, Hilliard, Oxford, Springboro, Hamilton, and Dublin. Travel will be necessary to prospect, follow-up on, and close sales leads. Candidates must reside close to the southern district.

Compensation

Enjoy a salary range of $48,000-$52,000 annually plus a competitive bonus potential. Vehicle and cell phone provided.
