Required Expertise and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Preferred professional audit certifications (e.g., CPA, CIA, CISA).
  • 3-5 years of experience in external and internal auditing or related fields, ideally within financial services.
  • Growing knowledge of auditing methodologies, tools, and trends.
  • A collaborative team player who proactively contributes to team objectives.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to innovative and collaborative work practices.
  • Excellent presentation, writing, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proactive approach with a strong desire to drive results.
  • Familiarity with IT general controls is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Audit Analyst will undertake integrated audits to support Fidelity's operations. Core responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with business and technology leaders to understand complex operational functions.
  • Mapping end-to-end business processes and associated technologies, identifying inherent risks and controls.
  • Utilizing audit automation tools to assess business operations and systems.
  • Conducting audit testing, including data organization, control testing, and documentation of findings.
  • Applying strategic and data analytics techniques to effectively pinpoint control weaknesses.
  • Drafting audit reports that clearly outline identified issues, their implications, and recommended management action plans.
  • Building strong relationships with audit teams and stakeholders.

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $64,000-$121,000 annually, with placement depending on job responsibilities, geographic location, and relevant experience. This base salary is part of a comprehensive compensation package that may include bonuses and other variable compensation.
