Job SummaryWe are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team. This is a fully remote position based out of Chicago, IL, where you will have the support of an all-star, industry-leading recruitment team.
Responsibilities- Identify potential clients and business opportunities through market research, networking, cold calling, and other channels
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing customized recruitment solutions
- Collaborate with clients to negotiate recruitment agreement terms, and prepare proposals and presentations
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and addressing concerns promptly
- Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities, offering insights and recommendations
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure the smooth delivery of services and enhance client satisfaction
- Keep accurate records of sales activities, manage the sales pipeline, and provide regular reports and forecasts
- Represent Boutique Recruiting at industry events, conferences, and networking functions with monthly travel often required
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is preferred
- 5+ years of work experience in Business Development or sales, preferably in the recruitment industry or similar field
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing time-sensitive deadlines
- Excellent networking and relationship-building skills, capable of engaging with individuals at all organizational levels
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, both in speaking and writing
- Strategic thinking skills, with a knack for identifying growth opportunities and devising effective sales strategies
- A results-oriented attitude, with a focus on meeting and surpassing sales goals
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software, such as Salesforce
- Ability to travel as necessary (typically 1-3 times per quarter)
