Position Overview

We are currently in search of a qualified and experienced Permanent Assistant Controller. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining our financial integrity and supporting our growth trajectory. The ideal candidate will oversee all facets of our accounting functions, including general ledger management, inventory oversight, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes. Responsibilities will also encompass month-end and year-end closing procedures, general ledger maintenance, and internal control assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all accounting operations, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Maintain and analyze the general ledger, addressing any discrepancies that arise.
  • Supervise capital project reporting, delivering precise financial data to aid in decision-making.
  • Assess internal controls, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with various departments to achieve financial objectives.
  • Conduct cash flow analyses, offering insights and recommendations to enhance financial performance.
  • Facilitate external audit processes, ensuring all necessary information is available and any issues are resolved promptly.
  • Oversee tax compliance activities, ensuring all obligations are fulfilled and potential issues are proactively managed.
  • Support strategic planning initiatives, providing financial insights and recommendations.
  • Ensure all operations adhere to GAAP standards.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and other accounting principles.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities, capable of interpreting complex financial data.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the capacity to manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills, adept at managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficient in accounting software and financial management tools.
  • Knowledgeable in tax and compliance regulations.
  • Experience in strategic planning, providing financial insights to support decision-making.
