The Pharmacy Manager plays a crucial role in impacting our consumers and clinic partners by advising them on our pharmaceutical care services and benefits. This position is accountable for the financial, clinical, and quality aspects of pharmacy services and will oversee the daily operations of a pharmacy, including dispensing prescription medications and engaging with consumers. Coaching, developing, and managing pharmacy staff is also a vital responsibility of this role. The manager will act as a talent steward, proactively seeking top talent for pharmacy positions.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Foster a positive consumer and clinic partner experience while building strong relationships to proactively address their needs.
  • Serve as a resource for clinical staff, proactively engaging with their team to achieve clinical outcomes.
  • Provide counseling and education to patients regarding medication usage, potential side effects, schedules, and personal inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and standards in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Conduct wellness services such as immunizations and preventive care.
  • Manage financial performance and identify growth opportunities within the pharmacy.
  • Inspire, develop, and mentor pharmacy staff to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Create an engaging team environment that promotes compassion and embodies our core values and culture.
  • Proactively promote recruitment opportunities to attract top talent for our pharmacies.
  • Analyze key performance indicators with pharmacy staff to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Engage in workforce and business planning to achieve operational excellence.
  • Build strong relationships with the community, stakeholders, and clinic partners to ensure we meet all needs and promote pharmacy services.
  • Drive marketing initiatives and materials to highlight all pharmacy offerings.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
  • Current pharmacist's license in the state of California.
  • Certified immunizer or willing to become certified within three months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of pharmacy leadership experience.
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
