The Pharmacy Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in impacting our consumers and clinic partners by advising them on our pharmaceutical care services and benefits. This individual is accountable for the financial, clinical, and quality aspects of pharmacy services and will oversee the daily operations of a pharmacy, including dispensing prescription medications and providing personalized consultations to consumers. Mentoring, developing, and managing pharmacy staff is also a significant responsibility of this position. The supervisor will act as a talent steward, proactively seeking top talent for pharmacy roles.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Foster an exceptional consumer and clinic partner experience while building strong relationships to proactively address their needs.
  • Serve as a clinical expert to the pharmacy team, ensuring alignment with clinical outcomes.
  • Provide counseling and education to patients regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and personal inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and standards in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Conduct wellness services, including immunizations and preventive care.
  • Manage financial performance and identify growth opportunities within the pharmacy.
  • Inspire, develop, and coach pharmacy staff to achieve their full potential and deliver outstanding service.
  • Create an engaging team environment that promotes compassion and embodies our core values.
  • Proactively recruit top talent for pharmacy positions.
  • Analyze key performance indicators with pharmacy staff to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct workforce and business planning to ensure operational excellence.
  • Build strong relationships with the community and clinic partners to meet all needs and promote pharmacy services.
  • Drive marketing initiatives to enhance awareness of pharmacy offerings.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
  • Current pharmacist's license in the state of California.
  • Certified immunizer or willingness to obtain certification within three months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in pharmacy leadership.
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
