We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Financial Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will oversee all facets of our financial operations, including general ledger management, inventory oversight, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise all financial operations, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
2. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, guaranteeing timely and precise financial reporting.
3. Maintain and analyze the general ledger, promptly addressing any discrepancies.
4. Oversee capital project financial reporting, delivering accurate information to aid in decision-making.
5. Assess internal controls, identifying risks and implementing strategies for mitigation.
6. Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives, collaborating with various departments to achieve financial objectives.
7. Conduct cash flow analyses, offering insights and recommendations to enhance financial performance.
8. Facilitate external audit processes, ensuring all necessary documentation is readily available and issues are resolved swiftly.
9. Manage tax and compliance functions, ensuring all obligations are fulfilled and potential issues are proactively addressed.
10. Contribute to strategic planning efforts by providing financial insights and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar capacity.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and relevant accounting principles.
- Exceptional analytical abilities, capable of interpreting complex financial data and providing actionable insights.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to guide a team and uphold high standards.
- Excellent communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration with other departments and external stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills, adept at managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Proficient in accounting software and financial management tools.
- Knowledgeable in tax and compliance regulations.
- Experience in strategic planning, with the capacity to offer financial insights that support decision-making.
