Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team at RATP Dev USA. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating the daily activities of our maintenance department to ensure a safe, effective, and efficient transit service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the maintenance team, ensuring that all activities are aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Maintenance Operations: Oversee the daily maintenance activities of the transit fleet, including vehicle maintenance, facility oversight, and utility services.
  • Facilities Management: Ensure that all facilities are well-maintained and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of spare parts and equipment to ensure that the maintenance team has the necessary resources to perform their duties.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities are in compliance with relevant regulations, including DOT, FTA, and state regulations.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports to management on maintenance activities, including metrics on vehicle availability, maintenance costs, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, business administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance management, with a strong background in transit maintenance and operations.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of maintenance professionals. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Working Conditions

The Maintenance Director will work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interactions with the maintenance team, other departments, and external stakeholders. The position requires strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
