Preferred Qualifications and Skills

Ability to manage substantial workloads and adapt to changing deadlines with composure and flexibility.
Proficiency in computer applications and a quick aptitude for learning new systems; demonstrated experience with MS Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team with minimal oversight in a dynamic environment, demonstrating sound judgment, tact, and a sense of humor; ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with care.
Familiarity with financial systems used in higher education is advantageous.
Prior experience delivering exceptional customer service in a high-traffic office setting is beneficial.
This role is a vital administrative position within a fast-paced department characterized by a collaborative atmosphere. The successful candidate will have a commitment to engaging with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and will be expected to: (1) coordinate tasks with supervisors, follow up on assigned projects, and provide and request updates on progress; and (2) actively contribute to enhancing office operations.

Position Overview

The HGSE Office of Admissions and Financial Aid is seeking a proactive and organized individual to deliver high-quality customer service to individuals throughout the application process. Reporting to the Associate Director of Admissions Operations, this position will oversee front desk operations and manage various communication channels, including multiple email accounts, the main phone line, and in-person inquiries.
