About the Role

Pipeline To God Communications, Inc is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our team. As a Billing Specialist, you will play a critical role in processing and analyzing billing data for our commercial insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Billing Data: Collect and organize information needed for billing, including services provided to clients.
  • Insurance Carrier Coordination: Research and resolve missing, denied, or underpaid services with clients and insurance agencies.
  • Therapy Notes Software Expertise: Have a basic knowledge of the Therapy Notes Software Billing System and protocols.
  • Effective Communication: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, including active listening and customer service skills.
  • Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Utilize good problem-solving and critical thinking skills to resolve billing and payment-related matters.
  • Industry Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of industry best practices, including HIPAA regulations.
  • Account Management: Monitor accounts receivable, identify overdue accounts, and resolve customer issues and complaints.
Requirements
  • Experience: Two years' experience in a related field, preferably in a mental health or healthcare setting.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged Sitting: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Lifting: Ability to lift 15 pounds or more at times.
