Job Overview

A distinguished Corporate Litigation Law Firm is seeking a Legal Biller to fulfill an immediate requirement. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of a vibrant and expanding legal practice that values professional development and promotes a healthy work-life balance.

  • Compensation: Up to $70,000 plus bonuses
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid model - 4 days in-office and 1 day remote

  • Experience Required: 1-3+ years in a similar role
  • Industry Background: Previous law firm experience is essential
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and execute billing and collections tasks for designated clients, practice groups, and billing attorneys.
  • Handle Appeals and facilitate the billing and collections workflow.
  • Ensure accuracy in rates, narratives, time, and expense records through effective transfers and edits for pre-bills and invoices.
  • Prepare and distribute pre-bills and invoices to billing attorneys and clients.
  • Track invoice statuses for clients and maintain records of accounts receivable and unbilled inventory; follow up to ensure timely collections.
  • Identify and address any recurring issues that may negatively affect billing and collections.
Qualifications:
  • 1-2+ years of direct billing experience within a law firm setting.
  • Familiarity with insurance clients, including split billing and complex billing arrangements, is advantageous.
  • Proficient in adapting to client-specific billing guidelines and technological changes.
