Position Summary:

The Field Service Deployment Specialist plays a crucial role in coordinating resources to ensure exceptional service delivery. This position requires collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of their needs. Success in this role hinges on the ability to effectively initiate, develop, and coordinate resources, including personnel and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of field service operations.
  • Schedule and dispatch Field Service Technicians (FST), tools, and spare parts to job sites to meet customer requirements.
  • Ensure the availability of necessary tools for scheduled tasks.
  • Communicate schedule commitments to Service Technicians.
  • Prepare comprehensive Job Information Packets for FST, including drawings, datasheets, and job history.
  • Facilitate parts orders to support on-site Service Technicians and expedite shipments.
  • Manage customer purchase orders and intercompany transactions related to assigned work.
  • Monitor service order costs and notify customers when costs approach 75% of the Purchase Order.
  • Oversee the change order process to prevent invoicing delays.
  • Provide data to support accurate weekly forecasts and 30-day projections.
  • Review field documentation for completeness prior to invoicing.
  • Maintain Salesforce information to ensure visibility for stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of processes and workflows to enhance field service performance.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for Field Service Technicians.
  • Provide after-hours support and maintain call schedules.
  • Conduct post-job follow-ups to ensure all actions are completed.
  • Assist in providing service quotes to customers.
  • Support new construction project commissioning schedules and ensure proper site support.
  • Collaborate with Technical Engineers to troubleshoot and resolve product issues.
  • Maintain an updated database for Field Service Employees and Contractors.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High School Diploma required; Associate's degree preferred; Bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a related field or field service role.
  • Familiarity with company products and service management practices.
  • Understanding of contracts and terms and conditions.
  • Strong problem-solving and creative thinking abilities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project).
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes is desirable.

Physical Demands:

  • Regularly required to sit, use hands, and communicate verbally.
  • Occasionally required to stand and walk.
  • Vision requirements include depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

  • Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts and outdoor weather conditions.
