Job Title: Field Service Commercial Manager

Amass is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Commercial Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Regional Field Service business, you will be responsible for managing all commercial aspects of the business, collaborating with Regional Field Service and Sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Management:
  • Supervise a team of 7+ professionals, setting performance goals and organizing workflow to ensure high productivity and morale.
  • Implement training programs to enhance technical expertise and customer awareness, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Commercial Strategy:
  • Develop and execute strategies to meet sales targets and identify new business opportunities, driving growth and revenue.
  • Coordinate customer turnaround schedules and support regional sales efforts to achieve booking, revenue, and Operating Income targets.
  • Financial Management:
  • Oversee forecasting processes and defend margins for Field Service, ensuring financial stability and growth.
  • Manage regional spending and share P&L responsibility, tracking key performance indicators related to quotes, cost accuracy, and invoicing.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Serve as the main point of contact for key customers, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms, leveraging your expertise to drive business growth.
  • Operational Excellence:
  • Oversee the entire Field Service process, from RFQ to order acknowledgment, ensuring timely invoicing and commercial excellence.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for efficient processing of orders and contracts, driving operational efficiency.
  • Strategy and Business Development:
  • Drive growth initiatives and support pricing strategy development, leveraging your expertise to drive business growth.
  • Implement tools like Oracle and CRM systems to enhance operations and drive business success.
  • Internal Coordination:
  • Facilitate job briefings and ensure timely billing and invoicing, ensuring seamless internal coordination.

Qualifications:

  • Engineering degree or relevant experience in turbomachinery.
  • 10+ years in Sales/Business Administration; 15+ years in the rotating industry, with at least 5 years in management.
  • Experience in Field Service or Technical Service management.
  • Strong project planning, budgeting, and negotiation skills.
  • Culturally aware, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English; business development experience preferred.
  • Strong financial understanding of P&L management.
