Customer Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Team Lead to join our team at Hannaford Supermarkets. As a key member of our Front End Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our customer service desk, managing a team of associates, and providing exceptional customer service to our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of customer service associates to ensure excellent customer service and a positive shopping experience.
- Develop and implement effective training programs to ensure associates have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional customer service.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring that all customer interactions are handled in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of customer transactions, including sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and a positive shopping experience for our customers.
- Identify and address any customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer service or retail management role.
- Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service and leading a team to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with associates, customers, and other departments.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve customer complaints and issues.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and move around the store as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and push/pull carts as needed.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Experience working in a retail or grocery store environment.
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
