Position Overview

The Digital Solutions Division at Abbott is in search of a Customer Success Executive focused on nurturing, retaining, and expanding our current customer base for our EHR-based care pathway program. This initiative aims to enhance healthcare delivery efficiency throughout the cardiovascular disease continuum. The role involves collaboration with the Digital Solutions Sales and Implementation teams, along with commercial field teams, to ensure the success of both the program and customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary account leader, ensuring successful engagement delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Implementation team to devise and implement account-level strategies for positive outcomes.
  • Establish trust and foster meaningful relationships with key stakeholders within each account.
  • Facilitate alignment among key stakeholders, including information technology, administration, and clinical specialties, to ensure program success.
  • Retain and grow accounts while proactively managing risks.
  • Conduct virtual or on-site business reviews to demonstrate ROI and value aligned with client objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for product enhancements or new solutions based on customer insights and market trends.
  • Work independently within cross-functional teams and liaise with Abbott's broader therapy teams as necessary.
  • Maintain expertise on the implications of key health policy and macroeconomic changes, including value-based purchasing and digital health trends.
  • Participate in cross-departmental meetings to provide insights on outcomes data, user experience, and future program strategies.

Qualifications:

BA/BS in Business, Life Sciences, Nursing, or a related field; MBA or MHA preferred.

  • 3-5 years of account management experience, ideally in the cardiovascular sector.
  • Prior experience in clinical, administrative, or IT operations within a hospital system is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of Electronic Health Record systems (EHR), such as Epic or Cerner.
  • Strong empathy for customers and a passion for account growth.
  • Comprehensive understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models.
  • Successful candidates will be innovative, persuasive, and possess a genuine curiosity about their clients' businesses.
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
