Your Contribution:

We are in search of a seasoned and driven Product Owner to enhance our innovative team within a classified setting. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in advocating for the needs of stakeholders within our SAFe Agile Software Development framework. This position demands a comprehensive grasp of classified project requirements, outstanding communication abilities, and a solid history of delivering superior software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Stewardship:
Serve as the representative for customers and key stakeholders, ensuring their requirements and priorities are effectively integrated into the development process.
Develop and uphold a detailed product backlog, outlining features, epics, and user stories in line with classified project guidelines.
Engage closely with stakeholders to capture their needs and convert them into actionable tasks for the development team.

• Agile Facilitation:
Act as a vital member of the SAFe Agile team, actively engaging in Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Review, and Retrospective.
Manage and prioritize the product backlog, balancing business imperatives and technical factors to optimize value delivery.
Encourage a collaborative and transparent atmosphere, ensuring effective communication among team members and stakeholders.

• Risk Assessment:
Address the complexities of operating in a classified environment, recognizing and mitigating risks related to security and confidentiality.
Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure that the development process adheres to classified project standards and protocols.

• Release Coordination:
Engage in release planning and coordination efforts, collaborating closely with other Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and the Release Train Engineer to synchronize release goals and timelines.
Contribute to the program backlog, ensuring that dependencies and cross-team factors are effectively managed.

Qualifications:


• Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.

• Demonstrated experience as a Product Owner in SAFe Agile settings, particularly within classified projects.
Skills:
Strong comprehension of classified project requirements, security protocols, and compliance standards.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the capability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Thorough knowledge of Agile principles and methodologies, especially in the context of SAFe.
Certifications:
SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) certification is preferred.
Relevant certifications in security and classified environments would be a significant advantage.
Other Requirements:
Eligibility for security clearance and readiness to undergo necessary background checks.
Commitment to stringent confidentiality and security protocols.

Clearance Required: TS/SCI w/ Full Scope
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
