We are seeking an Agile Product Owner to become part of our team, which is responsible for the integration, operation, and maintenance of various existing and developing systems. This role will oversee a team composed of DevOps professionals, systems engineers, systems administrators, and testers tasked with delivering the next generation of Geospatial Intelligence technologies to our clientele. The ideal candidate will possess experience with Agile methodologies and the various tools essential for managing agile teams, alongside the capability to engage in release planning events, daily scrums, and other technical discussions as required. The initiative will leverage GOTS, COTS, and custom technologies to provide advanced production and dissemination capabilities utilizing desktop, web, and cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Steer product delivery through a profound understanding of customer needs, mission objectives, and product specifications.
- Formulate the team roadmap and assist the team as necessary to fulfill commitments.
- Organize and prioritize epics, features, stories, and bugs.
- Demonstrated ability to draft technical tasks that convey business value for the customer.
- Assist in defining, documenting, and monitoring the completion of Epics, Stories, Tasks, and Bugs.
- Engage with other Product Owners and Scrum Masters, program leadership, customers, and development teams.
- Facilitate agile meetings such as daily scrums, retrospectives, and program increment planning.
Required Qualifications:
- CLEARANCE: Top Secret
- Bachelor's degree with 12 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 10 years of relevant experience; OR 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Defines and manages the team roadmap.
- Develop and propose innovative ideas regarding technical solutions and processes.
- Proactive self-starter demonstrating a positive attitude and excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge and experience in Agile Development.
- Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Able to work effectively in teams and lead a group.
- Regularly communicates with key internal and external stakeholders regarding critical/high-priority issues.
- Strong presentation skills and experience briefing senior customer management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAFe Agile Certification.
- 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master.
- Familiarity with AWS/Cloud Technologies.
- Certified Product Owner.
- Certified Scrum Master.
- Proven experience managing multiple baselines across various environments.
- Experience with collaboration tools such as Jira/Confluence and Rocketchat.
- Experience with ArcGIS or geospatial technologies.
- Experience with Geomatics and elevation data.
