Key Responsibilities:

• Product Stewardship:
Act as the representative for customers and key stakeholders, ensuring their needs and priorities are effectively integrated into the development workflow.
Develop and sustain a clearly defined product backlog, outlining features, epics, and user stories in line with classified project criteria.
Engage closely with stakeholders to capture their requirements and convert them into actionable tasks for the development team.

• Agile Facilitation:
Be an essential member of the SAFe Agile team, actively engaging in Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Review, and Retrospective.
Prioritize and oversee the product backlog, balancing business priorities with technical considerations to maximize value delivery.
Encourage a collaborative and transparent atmosphere, ensuring effective communication among team members and stakeholders.

• Risk Mitigation:
Navigate the complexities of operating in a classified environment, recognizing and addressing risks related to security and confidentiality.
Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure that the development process adheres to classified project guidelines and standards.

• Release Coordination:
Engage in release planning and coordination efforts, collaborating closely with other Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and the Release Train Engineer to align on release goals and timelines.
Provide insights to the program backlog, ensuring dependencies and cross-team considerations are effectively managed.

Qualifications:


• Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.

• Demonstrated experience as a Product Owner in SAFe Agile environments, particularly within classified projects.
Skills:
Strong understanding of classified project requirements, security protocols, and compliance standards.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Thorough knowledge of Agile principles and methodologies, especially in the context of SAFe.
Certifications:
SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) certification is preferred.
Relevant certifications in security and classified environments would be a significant advantage.
Other Requirements:
Eligibility for security clearance and willingness to undergo necessary background checks.
Commitment to strict confidentiality and security protocols.

Clearance Required: TS/SCI w/ Full Scope
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.

Minimum Years of Experience: 10
