We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Information System Security Officer to join our team in a dynamic and challenging role. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust security practices for our information systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies to protect our information systems
  • Collaborate with system owners and security personnel to ensure seamless security operations
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and develop plans of action and milestones (POAMs) to address identified security risks
  • Monitor and maintain security controls for our information systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies, including NIST RMF and ATO processes

Requirements:

  • At least 7 years of experience in information security, with a strong background in security management
  • Relevant certifications, such as CISSP or GISP, and experience with security tools like Tenable Nessus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field

Clearance Requirements:

  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
