Regional Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Manager to join our team at American Property Management. As a Regional Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of multiple properties within a designated area or region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support property managers and staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Develop, manage, and achieve budget goals for each property, reviewing monthly financials and budget variances with Community Directors.
  • Ensure properties are well-maintained and comply with health and safety regulations, conducting regular property inspections and preparing reports.
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, ensuring the property teams are trained and up-to-date on laws and regulations.
  • Market effectively to reach occupancy and income goals, monitoring unit turnover, market rates, occupancy, delinquency, concessions, and lease expirations.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in apartment property management, with a strong background in leadership and management.
  • Ability to manage multiple properties, budgets, and deadlines simultaneously, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • High school diploma or GED required, bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Fluent in English, with strong reading, speaking, and writing skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
