Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to oversee the operations of our Extended Stay America property. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction, driving revenue growth, and maintaining a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and direct the day-to-day operations of the property, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance teams.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth, improve guest satisfaction, and increase profitability.
  • Manage and direct a team of staff, including Assistant General Managers, to ensure seamless execution of hotel operations.
  • Monitor and control labor costs, property expenses, and inventory levels to ensure maximum profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the District Manager and Regional Director of Field Sales to develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the local market to increase revenue and market share.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses and key stakeholders to promote the hotel and drive revenue growth.
  • Ensure that all guest-related issues are resolved in a timely and professional manner.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of staff to ensure exceptional guest service and hotel operations.
Requirements
  • Minimum three years of related hospitality management experience, with a focus on hotel operations and management.
  • 4-year degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of computers and software, including email, word processing, and spreadsheet software.
  • Ability to organize multiple projects, manage and prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to manage and direct a team of staff to perform daily job tasks.
