Position Title: Marketing Services Coordinator

Location: Minneapolis, MN

SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of the Senior Marketing Services Manager and in accordance with established company policies and procedures, the Marketing Services Coordinator is tasked with overseeing the daily marketing functions of the local office. This role encompasses responsibilities related to client events, seminars, community engagement, charitable initiatives, and various marketing and business development projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Organizes and implements all seminars, client entertainment, and business development events in collaboration with the Client Growth team, as necessary.

2. Conducts orientation sessions for new legal staff regarding marketing practices.

3. Leverages business development research tools to identify potential marketing opportunities and strategic insights.

4. Advises the Office Managing Partner on memberships, sponsorships, and community initiatives to enhance marketing effectiveness.

5. Manages local community support and practice development sponsorships, including advertising, branding, event attendance, and ROI assessment.

6. Oversees the office's client and community relations budget, collaborating with the Office Managing Partner and Senior Marketing Services Manager for annual budget planning and monthly reviews.

7. Works with the communications team to prepare press releases, PR resources, surveys, directories, and other listings.

8. Exhibits strong interpersonal communication skills, providing organized and timely information to attorneys and staff during meetings, and effectively engaging with clients and vendors.

9. Ensures the availability of marketing materials, company merchandise, and client gifts.

10. Responsible for maintaining and utilizing marketing databases and CRM systems.

11. Manages the local office's social media presence and content across platforms such as LinkedIn and Twitter.

12. Coordinates requests for and distribution of tickets for various sporting and client entertainment events.

13. Maintains accurate information on internal calendars related to marketing events and ticket availability.

14. Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.

2. Three to five years of relevant experience in a professional services environment.

3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with a diverse group of attorneys, staff, and clients while maintaining confidentiality.

4. Proficient in utilizing marketing databases and familiar with marketing-related software tools.

5. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively under time constraints.

6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail in proofreading documents.

7. Competence in preparing and monitoring budgets.

8. Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

9. Flexibility to work beyond standard hours when necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

1. Typical office environment with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse conditions.

2. Ability to lift and transport materials and equipment up to forty (40) pounds, and to set up signage and materials for events.
