strongAbout the Role:/strongpModel 1 Commercial Vehicles is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Commercial Business Development Manager to drive the promotion and sales of our commercial/specialty vehicles within a designated geographic territory./ppThe ideal candidate will lead the development and execution of sales plans to propel commercial vehicle sales, foster strong relationships with customers, and drive the company's expansion./ppKey responsibilities include strategically developing and executing sales plans, conducting market research, building a robust sales pipeline, and collaborating with the RVP and marketing team to develop promotional strategies and campaigns./ppThe successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in B2B territory sales, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight./ppAdditional responsibilities include conducting field-based product demonstrations, establishing and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders, and meeting and exceeding assigned sales targets and objectives./ppThe ideal candidate will be highly self-motivated, results-driven, and adept at working in a fast-paced environment./ppstrongWhat We Offer:/strongbrbrstrongCompetitive salary and commission structure:/strongbr $150,000+ annual earnings including base salary plus uncapped commissionbrComprehensive benefits packagebrOpportunities for professional growth and developmentbrSupportive and collaborative team environmentbrbrstrongSales and Business Development:/strongbrStrategically develop and execute sales plans to propel commercial vehicle sales within the designated territory.brProactively identify and target potential customers, including businesses, contractors, and mid-sized fleet owners.brThoroughly conduct market research to gain insights into customer needs, preferences, and competitor activities, informing strategic sales approaches.brBuild a robust sales pipeline by prospecting, qualifying leads, and converting them into sales opportunities.brCollaborate with the RVP and marketing team to develop and implement promotional strategies and campaigns.brConduct field-based product demonstrations, including transporting vehicles on-site to customer locations, conducting walk-arounds, and on-the-job demonstrations.brbrstrongRelationship Management:/strongbrEstablish and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, dealers, and industry influencers.pServe as the main point of contact for customers within the assigned territory, addressing inquiries and providing exceptional customer service./pConduct regular meetings, product demonstrations, and training sessions with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.brIdentify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products and services to existing customers.brbrstrongSales Performance and Reporting:/strongbrMeet and exceed assigned sales targets and objectives, consistently achieving quarterly and annual revenue goals.brTrack sales activities, customer interactions, and progress using HubSpot CRM software and other designated tools.brPrepare accurate and timely sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis for sales management.brContinuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and growth.brbrstrongPosition Requirements:/strongbrBachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.br2-5 years of proven experience in B2B territory sales, preferably within the commercial vehicle industry. Experience in similar industries will be considered.brStrong entrepreneurial drive and desire to build a successful sales territory.brExcellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.brDemonstrated strong negotiation and closing skills with a dedicated focus on cultivating enduring customer relationships.brHighly self-motivated, results-driven, and adept at working autonomously with minimal oversight.brProficient in using CRM software, MS Office suite, and other sales tools.brProficient in using MS Teams and Zoom for remote meetings, both internally and externally.brValid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory conducting face-to-face sales calls.brbrstrongPhysical Requirements:/strongpbrMust have the ability to sit and stand for extended periods and move around an office environment that may require movement in small areas./pMust be able to bend, stoop, and lift a minimum of 25 lbs.brMay be required to climb stairs when necessary.
