About the Role:

The Assistant General Manager will play a pivotal role in the daily operations of Eastern Standard and Equal Measure, while also overseeing the private dining program. This position is ideal for an individual eager to embrace new challenges and contribute to a multi-faceted dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the General Manager in managing the daily operations of Eastern Standard and Equal Measure.
  • Implement new service initiatives and training programs for staff.
  • Maintain a visible presence on the floor, leading by example and assisting staff as needed.
  • Empower front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Collaborate closely with both front-of-house and back-of-house management teams.
  • Participate in inventory management and ordering processes.
  • Foster relationships with guests to encourage repeat visits.
  • Promote the ES hospitality brand within the community.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in restaurant management is preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
