Axe Throwing Venue Operations Manager

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Axe Throwing Club Manager to oversee the daily operations of our axe throwing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience for guests while maximizing revenue and profitability.
Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
Supervise and coordinate all activities within the venue, including reservations and point of sale software for check ins and check outs.
Ensure the execution of Club waivers for all participants and enforce rules and safety protocols at all times.
Direct staff to supervise participants and coach groups in a safe and effective manner.
Schedule staff shifts, manage staff levels depending on reservations, and reduce staff when appropriate.
Maintain premises in a clean and orderly manner.
Apprise ownership of low inventory levels and provide details on what to procure, including wood for targets and alcohol.
Manage reservations and walk-ins to ensure adherence to capacity and balance the user experience with additional demand.
Respond to emails and handle customer issues or requests.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in retail, hospitality, entertainment, or recreational management with specific experience in managing a similar venue is preferred.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and certain holidays.
Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred but not required.
Passion for providing a memorable experience and fostering a positive, welcoming environment for guests.
