Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Program Manager to join our team at Mountainside Treatment Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of our Outpatient Services department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions, as well as facilitate treatment groups, to promote client engagement and progress.
  • Coordinate care with external providers and community resources, such as family members, primary care physicians, and social services, to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
  • Model evidence-based treatment strategies and provide supervision and support to the outpatient team to ensure consistency and quality of care.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall effectiveness of our treatment programs.
  • Assume responsibility for budgeting and resource allocation to ensure efficient use of resources and optimal client outcomes.
  • Work closely with administrative staff to assign cases and create schedules for employees, ensuring seamless coordination of care.
  • Provide constructive feedback and coaching to employees to promote professional growth and development.
  • Audit clinical charts and monitor compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and quality standards to ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Assist with clinical caseload and group coverage as needed to ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date department metrics and quality assurance reports to inform program development and improvement.
  • Respond to on-call and after-hours needs to ensure timely support for clients and staff.
Requirements
  • Graduate degree in a related field (e.g., social work, counseling, psychology).
  • Current licensure in the state of Connecticut (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, LPC).
  • Minimum three years of experience in substance abuse and/or co-occurring disorders treatment, with a focus on integrated care.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities and ability to implement them in a clinical setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in electronic medical records and software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Adobe).
  • Awareness and sensitivity to addiction, socioeconomics, and cultural competency, with ability to provide culturally responsive care.
