Business Intelligence Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team at Amazon Web Services. As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving business decisions through data analysis, reporting, and KPIs.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement self-service headcount reporting tools to ensure accurate and timely benchmarked headcount information is delivered to the organization.
- Act as a consultative partner to the Resource Planning team, providing data-driven insights to support Specialist headcount strategy.
- Identify and address headcount data challenges within the organization, predicting future issues and building proactive solutions.
- Consistently validate data, maintain headcount data, and address data gaps as they arise.
- Work directly with large data sets and technical tools to analyze and interpret data.
- Develop and present recommendations for new metrics to improve understanding of business performance.

Requirements- Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance, or equivalent quantitative field.
- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc. experience.
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling.
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
- 5+ years of prior experience in Business Operations, Strategic Planning, Finance, Management Consulting, or other related fields.
