About the Role

We're seeking a natural networker and heat seeker who is passionate about helping customers achieve their goals. As an Account Executive, you'll be responsible for identifying and engaging good-fit prospects, understanding their needs, and identifying ways our unique offerings could transform their results. You'll have the opportunity to bring new and emerging technologies to prospective customers and collaborate with our creative, production, and leadership teams to develop tailored proposals and pricing options.

Primary Responsibilities

* Identify, research, and secure meetings with prospects within pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, chemicals, energy, advanced materials, and other scientific / technical industries.
* Engage prospects through networking, introductions, social media, warm follow-ups, and cold outreach to generate new leads.
* Arrange and facilitate introductory meetings to uncover customer challenges and needs.
* Showcase and demonstrate new and emerging technologies, translating the power and potential of our capabilities into viable, easy-to-understand use cases and applications.
* Collaborate with the creative, production, and leadership teams to develop tailored proposals and pricing options.
* Negotiate contracts and close agreements, ensuring the alignment of client expectations with our service delivery capabilities.
* Promote the company at conferences, trade shows, networking events, and on social media to enhance our visibility and attract new business opportunities.

What You'll Need to Succeed

* 5+ years of relevant work experience
* Proven track record of building valuable new client relationships and closing new business
* Genuine interest in new and emerging technology
* Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to educate and engage
* Highly motivated, self-directed, and results-oriented, with a positive outlook
* Willingness to travel as needed to meet with potential clients and attend industry events (10-15%)
