FOOD SAFETY & COMPLIANCE MANAGER

Location: Henderson, NC

Salary: $70,000 to $90,000/year (based on experience)

Position Overview:

Greene Resources is in search of a Food Safety & Compliance Manager who will be responsible for overseeing food safety and quality assurance initiatives. This role is crucial in ensuring adherence to industry regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer food safety and quality management systems in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Conduct and manage audits and inspections related to food safety and quality assurance.
  • Facilitate training sessions on compliance and best practices for staff.
  • Supervise production processes and employee training programs.
  • Manage supplier documentation and certifications to ensure compliance.
  • Interpret regulatory requirements and communicate them effectively across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation related to food safety.
  • Monitor sanitation practices to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records to support safety compliance efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Certification in SQF, HACCP, or PCQI is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of governmental regulations affecting food safety.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively with all organizational levels.
  • Exceptional motivational and negotiation abilities.
