Sponsorships & Event Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sponsorships & Event Sales Representative to join our team at Sand Mountain Park & Amphitheater. As a key member of our Business Development department, you will be responsible for prospecting, contracting, and supporting events and business development initiatives to drive revenue growth and enhance the facility's non-sport special events and trade shows.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect and contract new business opportunities to drive revenue growth
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure successful event execution
  • Pursue and book sponsorship sales to enhance revenue streams
  • Effectively activate sponsorship deliverables to ensure client satisfaction
Requirements:
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and negotiating skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Proven experience in contract negotiations, event creation, and planning
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field with 3+ years' relevant sales experience
Working Conditions:

The ideal candidate will be able to travel to trade shows and regionally by car, and will be required to sit for extended periods of time operating a computer. The ability to lift 40 pounds waist high is also necessary.
