Job Summary
Alfa Insurance sales representatives are dedicated team members who take immense pride in the company they represent, the products they offer, and the exceptional customer service they provide. They play a crucial role in assisting the company and agents with the sales and administrative tasks necessary to serve our existing customers while actively seeking to grow the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect for new business in multi-line insurance, provide quotes, bind policies, address customer inquiries, document requests, and process changes, including the acceptance of premiums and dues in a membership organization.
- Deliver outstanding service to members through effective communication across various platforms, adept conflict resolution skills, and the ability to swiftly learn new software and processes. Adaptability to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment is essential.
- Support agents and service center staff as required.
- Make informed decisions regarding applicant insurability and placement using proficient skills in binding and processing applications.
- Ensure the efficient operation of the service center, including but not limited to: reports, documentation, and mail distribution.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must obtain a Property and Casualty license within 90 days of hire (training provided).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with a strong aptitude for learning new programs and procedures.
- A collaborative team player with a positive and professional demeanor.
