Job Summary
Sales representatives at Alfa Insurance are dedicated team members who take great pride in the company they represent, the products they offer, and their commitment to outstanding customer service. They play a vital role in supporting the company and agents by performing sales and administrative tasks necessary to serve our existing clients while also working to expand the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect for new business in multi-line insurance, provide quotes and bind policies, address customer inquiries, document requests, and process changes, as well as accept and manage premiums and dues in a membership organization.
  • Deliver exceptional service to members through strong communication skills across various platforms, conflict resolution abilities, and the capacity to quickly learn new software and processes. Adapt proficiently to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
  • Assist agents and service center staff as required.
  • Make informed decisions regarding applicant insurability and placement utilizing competent skills in binding and processing applications.
  • Ensure the efficient operation of the service center, including but not limited to: reports, documentation, and mail distribution.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must obtain Property and Casualty license within 90 days of hire (training provided).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with a strong aptitude for learning new systems and procedures.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive and professional demeanor.
