Job Overview:
This role requires a dedicated individual to work on-site, focusing on the assembly, troubleshooting, and testing of electronic systems. The position demands a minimum of a two-year technical degree in engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Electronics Engineering Technician, you will:

  • Oversee and mentor junior technicians in the assembly and testing processes.
  • Lead the development and fabrication of prototypes, ensuring adherence to engineering specifications.
  • Conduct routine and advanced testing, collecting and analyzing data according to established test plans.
  • Identify and rectify any anomalies in test results to maintain quality standards.
  • Design and construct complex wiring harnesses and review test plans for thoroughness and efficiency.
  • Prepare detailed test reports, summarizing findings and recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Guide less experienced team members in troubleshooting and diagnosing test-related issues.
  • Initiate and lead projects aimed at enhancing quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, particularly when handling high voltage and current systems.
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining focus on project objectives.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to laboratory project ownership.
  • Select and maintain laboratory instruments, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to source and maintain laboratory components.

Position Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in engineering or a related field from an accredited program.
  • Intermediate to advanced technical skills in creating test setups and assembling complex wiring harnesses.
  • Strong instrumentation knowledge and experience in diagnosing test cell issues.
  • Familiarity with quality and reliability principles.
  • Understanding of inverters, converters, and control systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in the electronics industry, particularly in automotive applications.
  • Proficient in basic electronics, power electronics, and electric circuit systems.
  • Hands-on experience with test equipment such as power supplies and digital oscilloscopes.
  • Ability to independently construct subsystems and conduct validation tests.
  • Basic fabrication skills, including cutting, grinding, and welding.
