Position Overview:
We are looking for an Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team at US Tech Solutions, Inc. This role is essential for supporting the design, testing, and deployment of sophisticated military technologies. The Electrical Systems Engineer will engage in research, planning, design, development, modification, and evaluation of electronic and electrical systems and components. Utilizing advanced modeling and analytical tools, the engineer will create product specifications, models, simulations, technical documentation, and integration and verification processes. The successful candidate will assess vendor capabilities and technologies to ensure they meet the required standards for product delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Address moderately complex technical design and development challenges.
• Create, interpret, and understand schematics and interconnect diagrams.
• Develop and manage interface control documents effectively.
• Conduct circuit simulations using tools such as PSpice or LTSpice.
• Communicate technical data and results clearly through effective verbal and written skills.
Preferred Skills:
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting circuits with oscilloscopes and multimeters.
• Familiarity with software tools like MATLAB, Simulink, PSpice, LabVIEW, and Test Stand.
• Proficient in using OrCAD and Visio for design purposes.
Required Experience:
• Proven experience in analog and digital circuit design and analysis.
• Experience in developing technical documentation, including drawings, reports, and analyses.
Preferred Experience:
• Background in engineering design of wiring harnesses and cable assemblies for military applications.
• Experience programming National Instruments test equipment using LabVIEW and Test Stand.
Educational Qualifications:
Typically requires a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or a related field with 1+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with no prior experience.
