Building Products Evaluation Services

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up testing apparatus
  • Operate various equipment
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and facilities
  • Prepare samples for testing
  • Provide recommendations on technical decisions regarding test standards
  • Communicate effectively with clients and management
  • Perform additional tasks as necessary

Qualifications for Success:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • General knowledge of construction and carpentry, along with experience using power tools
  • Experience in carpentry; welding and fabrication skills are advantageous
  • Ability to follow simple instructions with common-sense understanding
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
  • Ability to handle standardized situations with minimal variability
  • Physical capacity to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Physical ability to perform various movements as required for job duties
  • Strong ability to follow directions and work independently
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in computer applications such as Word and Excel
  • Willingness to travel as business needs arise
