Position Summary:

The Operations Supervisor will serve as a key operational leader at the Snowtubing Park and play an essential role within the resort's Skier Services team. You will oversee the operational management of the Snowtubing Park, which includes staffing, facility preparedness, equipment upkeep, opening and closing protocols, and guest satisfaction. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and overall quality of the Snowtubing experience. As the Operations Supervisor, you will deliver exceptional guest service while guiding visitors through thrilling alpine adventures at the Snowtubing Park. A successful candidate will be a friendly, approachable, and detail-oriented leader.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and comply with the resort's policies and procedures as outlined in the handbook.
  • Oversee the daily operations of all activities within your designated area, including ticketing.
  • Ensure guest and employee safety by adhering to all Standard Operating Procedures, maintaining daily operational logs, and managing emergency responses.
  • Collaborate with the lift operations team to optimize the efficiency of the conveyor lift.
  • Participate as a member of the Skier Services Leadership Team and serve as the resort's night Manager on Duty twice a month during the season.
  • Engage with guests of varying experience levels and backgrounds to enhance their adventure.
  • Act as a point of escalation for guest service issues.
  • Proactively identify, plan for, and mitigate any hazards or risks associated with your activity area.
  • Assist in training assessments, complete check-off forms, and provide daily coaching to Activities staff.
  • Safely operate company vehicles.
  • Ensure compliance with daily, monthly, and annual inspection logs.
  • Support management in monitoring and controlling daily payroll, budget, and scheduling to meet departmental revenue, labor hour, and labor margin targets.
  • Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor in all interactions with guests and team members.
  • Manage performance for a team of 15+ staff, including training and job execution to achieve guest service, employee engagement, safety, and financial objectives.
  • Oversee activity inventory and coordinate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Complete performance evaluations and end-of-season documentation; collaborate with your Manager on performance reviews and HR-related activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in Guest Service.
  • At least 1 year of prior leadership experience in a dynamic operational environment.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work outdoors for up to 10 hours in varying weather conditions.
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs.
  • Excellent guest service skills.
  • Fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
  • Commitment to work the entire season.
  • Openness to learning company-specific software applications.
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory motor vehicle record.

The expected pay range for this position is $25 - $28. This range reflects the anticipated compensation for the role, with individual decisions based on various factors.
