Job Overview:

The Human Resources Manager oversees the comprehensive functions of Human Resources, which encompass the administration and management of employee benefits, compensation structures, workforce relations, recruitment processes, payroll oversight, and the enforcement of organizational policies and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the onboarding process for all newly hired personnel.
  • Update and maintain the Employee Handbook as necessary.
  • Administer payroll deductions, earnings, and ensure accurate payroll processing.
  • Manage and update the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
  • Conduct and oversee timely performance evaluations, participating as required.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align the human resource and talent strategy with the organization's current and future needs, focusing on recruitment, retention, and succession planning.
  • Provide support and guidance to management and staff on complex and sensitive HR issues; may involve administering routine tasks in delicate situations.
  • Oversee the talent acquisition process, including recruitment, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates.
  • Work closely with departmental supervisors to identify the skills and competencies required for job openings.
  • Analyze compensation and benefits trends; research and propose competitive pay structures to attract and retain top talent.
  • Partner with Training and Development to design programs that foster internal employee growth and development.
  • Manage employee disciplinary actions, terminations, and investigations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, reviewing policies to maintain adherence.
  • Stay informed about trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and employment law.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience in the HR domain.
  • Previous leadership experience is essential.
  • Experience in the medical field is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
