Key Responsibilities:

Execute assemblies in accordance with schematics, directives, and work orders, conducting tests as necessary. Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of inspection tools, their applications, and functionalities to guarantee that all components and assemblies meet specifications. Ensure cleanliness of all parts and components prior to assembly, adhering to all assembly protocols. Comply with all safety regulations and utilize required personal protective equipment. Operate various precision measurement instruments, such as micrometers, verniers, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), in a warehouse setting, alongside hand tools like hydraulic torque wrenches and flame torches. Identify and resolve issues encountered during assembly processes. Maintain a keen attention to detail and a results-driven mindset. Capable of performing basic mathematical calculations, including rate, ratio, and percentage computations, as well as converting measurement types. Participate in Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) initiatives as required and adhere to all Flowserve policies and procedures. Proficient in reading and interpreting documents such as blueprints, technical drawings, safety regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals. Capable of drafting routine reports and communicating effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and clients. Demonstrate a customer-focused approach to ensure timely delivery and high-quality workmanship. Basic computer skills for data entry systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed on short notice. Foster a collaborative environment that promotes team building and ongoing improvement. Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 50 lbs. Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma / GED and/or 0-2 years of relevant experience. Background as a mechanic for rotating machinery, mechanical devices, or general mechanics.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Experience in a workshop environment. Familiarity with automation controls and electrical components. General educational certificate or vocational training.
